Because we need to stay focused on empowerment through loving and peaceful struggle now more than ever.

Because our young people have things to say about our world and Dr. King's legacy; nearly 500 students submitted essays, poems and works of art for review by our judges!
WHEN?

Cash awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Winners at the Family Celebration. Mark your calendars now!

All contestants should arrive at Prospect Heights by 12:15 am to pick up your T-Shirts and Certificates.

Doors open to the general public at 12:45 pm.
