The Commission has contracted with Ms. Judee Rosenbaum, former English teacher and Scholarship Adviser at the Brooklyn College Academy High School, to be the Coordinating Supervisor of our 2015-2016 College Prep Program.
The Commission's College Prep Program includes working directly with 35 students (and their parents, when appropriate) to address the following:
-
Understand and complete college applications
-
Write college essays
-
Prepare for college interviews
-
Apply for scholarships and financial aid
-
And more ...
The College Prep Team will advocate with appropriate institutions to help our students secure college admissions and funding.
The program is free to the schools and families that participate.
The Commission wishes to thank the YWCA of Brooklyn for its partnership in this endeavor and its general support of the Commission's work.
